Windows

Windows menu commands are:

Create New Window

Open a new view of the active document in a new top-level window. The new view is identical to the document active view. This is considered as a modification of the active document.

Close This Window

Close active view. If this view is the only one opened for the document and the document has been changed but not saved, a dialog box pops so that you can save the changes, ignore them, or abort the operation. If other views exist, the view is closed without asking anything and the document is marked as dirty.

If after closing a view, the top-level window remains empty and this top-level window is not the only one opened, it will be closed.

Opened windows

Below the two first commands, you find the list of all the opened views in the top-level window. Clicking on a view name makes it active.
